Adherence to Constitutional Values
The constitutional values of our Nation are sovereignty, socialism, secularism, democracy, republican character of Indian State, justice, liberty, equality, fraternity, human dignity and the unity and integrity of the Nation. ACT wholeheartedly adheres to them and instils them into the minds of all its stakeholders.
Alphonsian be a proud Indian: Every Alphonsian is reminded that he/she enjoys the education only because the people of the nation pay for it. Thus every Alphonsian is obligated to the Nation and that feeling of indebtedness make him a responsible citizen. A dutiful citizen is always proud of his mother land.
Policies: All the policy statements of ACT are directed by Constitutional Values. The core values like socialism, secularism and democracy are embodied in the policies and action plans of ACT. ACT is essentially socialistic, secular and democratic. It shall not tolerate sectarian beliefs or practices. It is democratic in administration and secular in its core.
Values: ACT upholds the constitutional values like justice, liberty, equality, fraternity and human dignity. A preferential option for the poor, oppressed and marginalized marks the height of justice. Liberty with due respect to the world-views of the other, equality of opportunities and fraternity with a mind to accept the other as he/she is etc are acted to the soul in ACT. The dignity of human life and identity is valued above everything and ACT would not tolerate harassment at any point.
