Alphonsa College, Thiruvambady was established by the Diocese of Thamarassery in 2014 for students seeking higher education in the hilly areas of Kozhikode District. The uniqueness of Alphonsa College is that it upholds Christian values and morals and, in its support, nurtures and enables each student to grow holistically and to a higher level of thought.

We offer six courses in this college with affiliation from University of Calicut. Courses like M. Com Finance, M. A. English, B. Com Finance, B. Com Computer Application, BBA, B. A. English and B. Sc. Psychology work well here. Here we have provided all the facilities required for the holistic development of the students and their learning. The college features smart classrooms, spacious library, psychology lab, AC seminar hall, spacious auditorium and examination hall and so on so that teachers can teach comfortably and the students can understand easily.

For the students of this college who excel in extra-curricular activities, the facilities required for them to attain high growth in their arts and sports are also available. Basketball, volleyball, badminton and mini football courts that are built in the modern fashion with the goal of their athletic growth are very important for the students. In addition, a well-functioning canteen has been set up at the college for the children to gather and eat together. For students coming from far-away places, hostel facilities have been set up for them under the leadership of the esteemed Rev. Sisters.
